rGlobe Inc. was founded by Lourdes Sanchez-Espinell in 2010. She holds a Masters of Architecture from Columbia University and a Professional Degree in Architecture from Syracuse University.
Having practiced architecture in New York since 1997, she moved to London in 2004 to work for Pritzker Prize winning architect Zaha Hadid. There, she lead work for a number of projects including the Gaunzhou Opera House and the competition that led to the commissioning of the Dubai Opera House.
Her experience includes hospitality, high end residential, mix use, cultural and entertainment. She has been involved in and lead projects in China, Russia, the US and the Middle East.
She has taught at FIU and Columbia University Barnard College and adjudicated at Columbia University, Columbia Barnard College, The University of Brighton, UK and Florida International University among other institutions.
rGLOBE Inc. is a full service architecture and design practice specializing in the design and execution of Hospitality, Mixed Use, Retail, Commercial and Custom Residential projects.
We bring together our passion and knowledge of architecture towards formulating thoughtful architectural propositions that consider evolving technologies, location, economic imperatives, environmental necessities and functional integrity while devising both the architectural object and the experience of space.
