CONTEXTUALl REFERENCES & MATERIALITY
The Dry Valley project involves the development of a small residential town with minimal impact to the existing mountainous topography as well as a number of housing prototypes which the NHT intends to utilize towards the creation of sustainable housing in keeping with the national goals and the Development Plans for the Parish of Trelawny. Each type presented, includes available space for additions, both interior and exterior, which owners can implement, hence ensuring overtime individual growth. In conjunction with the best planning strategies the project is heavily driven by sustainable imperatives. The Master Plan embraces the tradition of community living in individual identity and looks to the historical types found in nearby Falmouth for reference.
